Synopsis

In this book Ramon Muntaner gives us himself, and, with himself, much of his contemporaries, the «nobles and knights and citizens and mercgants, captains of ships and sailors and almogavers and soldiers» to whom he appeals to act as one in defence of the integrity of the Crown of Aragon and who stood in fact behind is phenomenal rise in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries.
