Biblioteca històrica de la traducció catalana ('Historical Library of Catalan Translation')

Each volume of the ‘Biblioteca Històrica de la Traducció Catalana’ (BHTC) contains the facsimile edition of a historical translation with an introductory study.
The introductory studies will address the work’s analysis following the author’s reception in the context of Catalan literature, the history of translation—in relation to other translations of the same work and the work of the translator—, and the more technical and linguistic aspects of translation.
The BHTC is a joint initiative of the Màrius Torres Chair, the TRILCAT Group of Pompeu Fabra University and the Editorial Barcino, in collaboration with the Biblioteca de Catalunya.
